Ainsi, ma pensée ne se perd pas...

Un temps d'arrêt pour un temps de créations et de partage de savoir-faire entre Junior et Marie-Pierre, Fanny et un participant... C'est la soirée Métissage Urbain à bord de notre caravane philosophique pour les jeunes et les Autochtones en situation d'itinérance.

Devant le Centre d’Amitié Autochtone, c’est sous une chaleur assommante que nous retrouvons fraîcheur et légèreté au son des drums de la traditionnelle soirée culturelle du mercredi. Dehors, nous trouvons une poignée de personnes intriguées par notre camionnette... s’engage alors des dialogues sur les projets et l’identité de chacun durant plus d’une heure, ou ne nous arrêtons pas de distribuer livres (fictions et thriller pour un des participant, BD, mangas et poésie pour d’autres), carnets et autre matériel de dessin…

L’intérêt et l’intrigue se créent autour du projet Métissage Urbain que Stéphane Dionne, médiateur-artiste invité à bord explique aux participants. Certains d’entre eux sont artistes, comme Junior, venu de l’ouest il y a quelques dizaines d’année, ou d’autres encore ébénistes. Le savoir-faire, le talent et la fierté sont un trait commun du caractère de ces personnes rencontrées ce soir-là à bord… Des dessins et des inspirations du moment nous sont laissés, petits bouts de papiers à la valeur soudain importantes et colorés de ces parcours et histoires venues de loin ! 
 
Pas encore tatouée (à la surprise et les interrogations de mon interlocuteur), je reste pour autant bien marquée par la gentillesse et la bonhomie de ce monsieur Junior, au trait comme à la verve assurée et fleurie…
