Patch Adams à la rencontre des participants d'idAction et idAction Mobile

Vendredi 28 mars, le programme idAction recevait un visiteur bien particulier pour une journée complète de foulosophie!

Au sortir de sa conférence de presse, Patch Adams en personne embarquait dans notre petite caravane idAction Mobile, direction l'Accueil Bonneau. Dans la salle à manger de Bonneau, le staff, bénévoles, intervenants, arborent tous un nez rouge, et c'est sous une salve d'applaudissement que Patch est accueilli! Nous prenons donc le lunch tous ensemble, avant de nous diriger vers la salle commune ou a lieu l'atelier d'idAction auquel est convié nore invité! La encore, tous les nez rouges sont en place, l'accueil est chaleureux, la salle comble. Plus de 50 personnes assistent à la discussion.

L'atelier, traduit simulatément par Alexandra, prend donc la forme d'une discussion ouverte, et les participants de Bonneau peuvent poser leurs questions à Patch Adams qui alterne entre des moments de vive émotion, racontant, les larmes aux yeux, ses séjours parmi des camps de réfugiés partout à travers le monde, des moments de rire intense, illustrant par ses stratégies clowmesque sa révolution par l'amour, et des moments de sensibilisation et de rélexion. Patch sollicite l'assemblée : "que celui qui peut citer une chose plus importante que l'Amour lève la main!" Silence. Aucune main ne se lève. Sourires. Quand Patch mentionne sa présence au discours de Martin Luther King "I Have a Dream", l'une des inspirations de sa vie, plusieurs gars semblent vraiment impressionnés!

L'atelier fini, nous proposons une photo de groupe avec Patch, et c'est avec empressement que tous les gars viennent grimacer à ses côtés, tirant la langue!! L'heure est à la malice!

Patch embarque ensuite avec l'équipage du jour, composé de Fred au volant, Nadia, Dorothée, le comédien Stéphane Crete, Mélanie Ladouceur, ainsi que Daniel, un participant de Bonneau, curieux! nos médiateurs Daniel, Maxime, Alexandra et Claude secondés par Loic, notre clownesque bénévole, prennent la suite du convoi! Dans la van, on se prépare, direction Atwater, notre premier arrêt : lunettes démesurées, nez rouges, chapeaux en forme de poulet, oreilles en fleur. L'entrée du métro prend subitement des airs de fête.

Sur les notes d'accordéon de Fred, on danse, on se prend dans les bras, on rit... Et Patch part à la rencontre de chacun, frottant son nez rouge à ceux qui le veulent bien!

Comme Patch citait Nietzsche à l'Accueil Bonneau "le combat de la maturité, c'est de retrouver le sérieux d'un enfant qui joue", et nous nous attachons à mettre en pratique cette sage parole!

L'arrêt Atwater prend des allures d'épopée lorsque nous tentons de rejoindre sous terre la place Alexis Nihon:  notre invité indiscipliné, poisson en plastique sous le bras, s'arrête pour distribuer amour et attention à chaque passant, de ces couloirs si fréquentés!! Nous parvenons néanmoins auprès de Denis, qui semble plus qu'ému et heureux de rencontrer Patch!

Tant bien que mal nous prenons la route du métro Mc Gill, où d'autres fantastiques moments, davantage personnalisés cette fois ci. Le long des couloirs, notre cortège s'arrête pour distribuer des nez rouge, acceptés dans la quasi totalité par les participants!
