L'infatigable qu'ils devraient l'appeler, l'indomptable, l'inépuisable, l'INSUBMERSIBLE Van. » Mon oreille droite a aimé entendre cela.

Ils me font du bien. » « I was alone in Montréal during a hobo day. Everybody speaks French around me. I was the only guy who spoke English. I feel lost. I walked among them, looking for someone that could understand me and just help me in this jungle. I finally heard an English word. I caught the man who said it and we began to talk in English. It was really great. I’ve never seen this guy since that moment but he is my first memory of Montréal and I will never forget him. » « In Ontario, alcohol is very expensive. But here it's truly cheap. So, one day, I drank too much and after that, we walked with some friends in the street. We meet other guys with beautiful clothes and shoes... actually, they look like rich guys. They began to talk with us and finally one of them said « I know what it is to be poor, one day I slept in a Trench Coat. » I was really angry to hear that. I began to yell out loud. 6 people tried to calm me down but I was drunk and didn't hear them. Now, I smile when I’m reminded of this story, mainly, because it is my first memory of Montréal. »
